GN - how to do curve/mesh bulge on proximity to object/empty?

Hey ho,

I have a question, is it possible to create a curve with mesh (shape>geometry>object) that gets deformed by a object as if it was passing through that would be animated, it would travel along the curve that gets deformed (maybe it can be only done with mesh in GN ?).

Imagine a hose and either water passing through it or a sphere larger than the hose.
