Finally i switched from PC to Mac, so my Photoshop 7 license isn’t valid on it. CS3 is coming this year, but I don’t believe that I will have enough money for it. That’s the reason why I switched to Gimp. It event fits better to my other “tools of the trade” (you all know what I mean 
)

Yes, the GIMP is a good thing. I’m currently on 2.3.9 (unstable), although gentoo database tells me 2.3.13 is available. Not that I can tell the difference from 2.2 with the features I use!:rolleyes:
Once you get used to the interface (I came from Corel Photopaint), and customise it to your desires it does everything that I need at least.
