gods n thunderbolts....

Not sure why, but I found this very amusing… an actor playing Jesus and the assistant director have been hit by lightning during the filming of Mel Gibsons new film about Jesus…

The assistant director has now been hit by lightning twice during the making of the film…

now, you can take that in 2 ways… either there IS a god… or its pure coincidence…

i preffer not to make a decision

I go for coincidence…

But there’s always the possibility that He’s beginning to get a little bored with the Bible stories.

I thought we’d know if someone was having fun with a giant Tesla coil

Martin

MUAHAHAHAA

whats a tesla coil? :expressionless: lol

google is your friend

Martin

wow, those are cool!

and yes, as you can see from the WIP section, google is a VERY good friend!

It’s something that the coal, oil, and nuclear industry doesn’t want you to know about.

If this means there is a god, it shows he has good taste…
I’m sick of Mel Gibson’s projects where he is remaking (or talking about remaking) Films by directors he could never touch. (Francois Troufault and Martin Scorcese, (Fahrenheit 451 and Last Temptation ( Ok, this post was just an excuse to have nested parenthesis ( I like 'em ( Where’s the ‘match brace’ function on elysiun? ( How 'bout some syntax highlightin While we’re at it? ) )) ) ) )

Up with nested parenthesis!

Martin

haha, thats pretty cool.

i know where i stand, but im not gunna impose that on anyone.

if it is him, he has a good sense of humour.

I can imagine that the coal and oil industries wouldn’t want you hanging around their refineries and chemical plants etc with one, but aside from that, I can’t see why they’d be that fussed about something that’s just a transformer really…

The coil was only part of Tesla’s work, it was meant to convert energy into a usable form, that’s what transformers do. He was working on tapping free energy generated by the Earth’s rotation using ground rod collectors and LC circuits. Unfortunately, his work disappeared in a mysterious fire.

Additionally he claimed to be receiving signals from aliens and to have invented a death ray which could destroy 10,000 aircraft at a distance of 250 miles…

Although he was quite obviously a genius, he was also a bit mad…
