Well, not right now - I have to finish culinary school first - but I have decided to leave for continental Europe next April, and hopefully be a away for a couple of months. Don’t think I should have any problems finding places to work along the trip, being a trained chef by then. Should be a fun experience… ideally, I don’t want to have to return to sweden at all:p Anybody that has any experience on the subject of backpacking? Would be interesting to hear.
1 word, HOSTEL
EDIT: sorry couldn’t resist lol
Yeah, well - duh!
Here’s a preliminary itinerary. Don’t want to add too many locations right now.
Copenhagen (been before)
Hamburg
Amsterdam
Paris
Madrid
Barcelona
(Valencia - a friend of mine might be able to get me work there)
Nice
Rome (been before, but you can’t really get enough of it, can you?
Napoli
Venice
Vienna
Budapest
Berlin
And then when I run out of cash… home to Sweden:(
Just go, and Godspeed.
Life is short. Damn short!
no USA on ur list? smart move
i wonder how exactly would you backpack from Europe to USA… that would be a very interesting challenge
Make sure to ask Alltaken to borrow some of his super-short sexy shorts.
its cool, i can hook him up.
Yeah traitor has been rummaging in my drawers again.
That sentence’s use of the word drawers is far too vague, sir.
what, no Baltic counties?
Quite a list already, although if you take your time, it will be a wonderful thing. I can especially tell about Vienna, which is a truly beautiful city
There’s New Zealand!
I’d skip Madrid and go to Toledo instead. Toledo is a gorgeous old city, Madrid is just big (unless a visit to the Prado is on your itinerary.) Can’t get enough of Rome? I feel that way about Paris, myself.
