good animation logic setup?

I was thinking eventually of “fading” actions into each other,

but I guess you can just have a ‘animation list’ and remove the animation after X frames… ?

i came up with another solution:
when a key is pressed the armature tracks to a certain empty pointing in a direction and plays the walk animation
for example: when i press “W” the armature tracks to the “front_empty” and plays the walk animation
when i press “A” the armature tracks to the “left_empty” and plays the same walk animation

i tried this once but it didnt work that time
now it works dont ask me why xD
