Hey everyone, really wanted to participate, was just looking for some free time to do so. Well I just found some time lying around so I put this together. 
Not exactly a train, just the first thing that came to my mind and so I went with it . Hope you dont mind.

Thank you @SterlingRoth! Yeah the modeling part was pretty short, so I quickly went on to playing around with the lights, to color it a bit and give it some oldschool comic-like spacesaga feel.
Thanks much @DNorman, that sounds cooler than what I had in mind, I just chose to model Captain Future’s Comet, but seems its not that recognizable in its cube version. 
The lighting of this is so beautiful, I love that you can see the concentric rings in each light

“Innerspace” is the better movie though. Watched that one so many times.

- second had a miniature space ship with Dennis Quaid in it - injected into Martin Short’s butt. Beats Raquel in every time line.
I actually read the book it was based on ages ago. I remember liking it quite a lot but cannot remember the name.

Oh. … hmmm … now that I read it again
I just like that movie so much. It has Robert Picardo as an 80ies Gangster, a lady at the register with a gun shaped lighter, Meg Ryan is cool in this for once and damn that face transformation scene made me laugh sooo hard
