Goofed up Cloth Test..

I ran a simple test just as an exercise to figure out some cloth techniques and I was wondering if anyone knew an easy way to fix this defect in the simulation…

I’m sure it’s something I just overlooked but it’s eluding me atm heh
I have 3 lamps soft shadows, AAO, some SSS on the sphere. I smoothed the vertexes of the cloth… it looks like a shadow issue but …

try using raytraced ao instead of approx, just cook out a couple single frames and see if it still has those weird artifacts

Let me know your results, other wise a fine technical effort.

I tried a few more things and the only way I could get rid of the weirdness was to subsurf the cloth by 1. I had quite a dense mesh to begin… owell I guess that’s just the way it works. I’ll post a fixed video with an edit after I get it made.
