Google could not help with this hair problem.

Hello!

As I mentioned, I did not find anything on google and I need this done today, I have been messing with it for a day now solving lots of problems but this one is too much. Please help.I never learned blender, I just had to make a 3D model for my graduation work. I already made one toothbrush and I had no major problems during the modelling, but this time the hair is facing the wrong direction. Face normals seem to be good and I combed the parents to be straight, I think I also managed to adjust the lenght to be equal but that does not work either. I have searched google and the forums and I realized that explaining does not help as much as attaching the .blend file so here you go!

Thank you!

Swaxkidsv3.blend (1.54 MB)

Option 1
Move the particle modifier above the subsurf modifier

Option 2
Use the particle edit mode to adjust the hair particles using the subsurf level you are using to render

Your blend file with the subsurf level at 4 in the viewport

Thank yo very much, especially for the quick reply. You kinda saved my day. It worked immediately I just did not have the time to reply at the time.
