Can Blender import any google sketch up models?
if i recall google sketchup can export to .obj which can be imported into blender so in theory yes.
There’ve been mixed results with recent versions. Please search this forum for this topic as it has been discussed many times before.
It can’t export obj. (unless you pay money)
but there is a way with .kmz, just search for it. I explained it in a thread like not even a week ago
edit: here is the thread
Actually there is a (free) OBJ export plugin for the free version.I think it’s available at this site - http://www.crai.archi.fr/RubyLibraryDepot/Ruby/RUBY_Library_Depot.htm
KMZ export should do the job fine too – excep, AFAIK, it only reads v3 of Google Earth. (KMZ is Google Earth, right? ) Shouldn’t be a problem, as long as you save as v3.
