This is actually the first asset I tried to make after getting the “anything Gothic” suggestion. But after a few slow weeks of fumbling with shapes and struggling to put my (limited) knowledge of what makes something distinctly Gothic into practice, I ended up moving from this to the Gothic Chair.
Oddly, it was only after I got the chair model done that something clicked in my brain, and I was able to return to the table and make it feel more authentic.
These renders were made about 5 months ago, and since then I’ve been given some feedback that I haven’t yet implemented.
