good old grass again! im rendering quite large field area and im trying to have the grass -with its transparency, reflection, image texture and gradient but id also like to apply an over all texture to the field to make some part of it lighter and some parts of it darker. if you check out a satelite image of the bruntsfield links in edinburgh then youll see what i mean. the grass isnt an even colour across the field. some is more yellow some is more green.

does anyone have a node setup thatll do this? or any suggestions?

ok, well ive plugged a texture node into the fac and that seems to be working but if anyones got a more detailed breakdown id be happy to hear it.
