Grassfield

I would like to know how I can make this scene more realistic.

Use realistic texture for trees and try to match the shape and size of real trees

  • Those trees are small and really don’t have many leaves for the size of their trunk. I would expect trees like those in a harsh mountain or arctic environment. If this is meant to be a lush field, they would be bigger (though there would also be smaller bushes, but with a thinner trunk).

  • The grass is pretty nice, but could use some other plants mixed in. Maybe some flowers, small bushes or ferns?

  • The rocks could have more size variation.

  • It’s very rare that a landscape just disappears at the horizon like this. I feel like I’m almost seeing the border of the model. There would probably be distant forests or mountains stretching really far away. They don’t have to be as detailed or covered in actual grass.

Added new tree branches.
Tree leaf and bark are HD textures so I can’t change it to something more realistic than photo. Maybe material settings are bad.
Not the trees were too small but the grass too big. I have changed size so trees are about 20x times bigger than tall grass like in real world.
Added some more rock size variation.
Added some flowers and weeds.
Added far away landscape too. But this is such kind of landscape that have no mountains. Something like here.
I also kept the distance from the horizon, taking into account the curvature of the Earth, and it is about 8 km.
I have changed the size of dust particles to real world size so they are now very small.

Personally, I think that all of these renders look perfectly believable for depicting a rocky hillside. The second image, with more trees in the background, draws my eye upwards and outwards to look at them. The first image drew my eye to the deep shadows beside the foreground hill. I would call either one of them, “finished.”

now it looks pritty good

Here is final version Grass field
