Not too sure if this is the right forum, but, what does a Grease Pencil do and why should I use it?
I have watched several tutorials, and can’t see what use it would be to me.

practice, work… get experienced and expand your mind, soon you’ll find a way to better the workflow
for starters, annotating is much faster, easier if one is able to do it within a working app/environment
