is that second one internal? if so how did you do it?
Great cutout! What’s the balls size and how did you tweak your settings? I usually just can’t get very fine and small displacements on my objects (except last try with meshpainting and very high subdivisions). Thought i’d never tried to use this SSS thing wich is still a complete and total mystery to me…

I think the bg was made with the zenith color being what you see on top and the sky color what you see in the middle.
Nice lighting in the last one! i like the colored lighting. Very easy but still impressive

Thanks for the link (i’ll keep anyway). Hopefully it’ll work for ANY Unix OS… Well i shall see if .py in my Blender’s plugin file will do anything on OSX…
