Group of lights

Is there a way that I can have a group of lights all controlled by the one set of settings? So when I change the intensity of one it changes all the others I associate with it in the same group.

Thanks,

M. Lightning

You can have linked duplicates. Make one light and use Alt+D to link duplicate it. If you change the settings in one light it will affect the others.
For blender 2.55, for a more complicated setup you can have different lights but use the energy of one to change another lights energy as a driver.
For more info about setting up drivers its best to do a forum search rather than go into specifics here.

If you’ve already made your lights, then you can achieve the same thing that Richard describes (I think it’s the same thing, at any rate) by selecting all your lights, making sure that the last one you select is the one with the settings you want the other lights to have. Then press ctrl+L which brings up the “Make Links” window – choose the “object data” option. Now whenever you change the settings on ANY of these lights, all the others will do the same.

this is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you guys.
