grouping objects

I;m sculpting head meshes. And as such I want to pose the head as various angles, not simply rotate the camera for best lighting and shadow.

So, I;m asking if it’s possible to group all the ojects, head, eyes, corneas, ears, hair mesh and parent them to the head, so that when the head is moved that other parts remain in correct orientation…

I realize it could be rigged fairly easily, but I;m wondering if grouping will achieve that effect. more simply.

Separately, if you “group” various object do they also “group” under the outliner?
