Im having a hard time working out what im doing wrong with my gui overlay here. (using 2.5x)
i have had a good play with the alpha levels etc in the material / texture panels, but cant get it just right.
Note, I am using a “full screen” UV’d Plane, for the actual icons, and then invisible planes on top to handle the button presses…
Perhaps this is in and of itself a problem, and even if not, may be too restrictive further down the track?
Does anyone have any good menu / GUI button tutorials / example blends?
I plan to move towards using GameKit / OgreKit shortly, is there a better method to use for compatibility, since GameKit doesnt currently support Overlay Scenes?
it was white originally, but then i changed the horizon color to white, trying to get contrast with the game window and the workspace in bge. and then totally missed the negative impact that would have…
the colors on the profile / debug overlay now appear to be inverted / distorted? or is this just local to my laptop…
