Gunsmoke

Hi,

I’m looking for tips on how to improve the gunsmoke below. I’m using two softbody planes for each gun’s smoke. It’s okay, but it’s looking a little too much like water or celophane… the specularity is at 0.6 and if I put it much lower the smoke pretty much disappears, and hardness is at 6 right now.

Very grateful for any pointers or samples of good gunsmoke…

Ah, thanks. Those are good examples. I had seen some particle smoke before that always looked way too billowy and puffy for what I was after, so I was trying to avod that… but the examples in that link look really nice. I’ll try that.
