After downloading 2.42 Beta… I decided that the best way to test is to go ahead: model and animate something… and so I did and going to!

There is still a little too many vertices around the mouth, I’ll get rid of those later.

The new opinions in the merging menu are lifesavers!

nice. he looks like he will animate well. i think i’ll go download the latest build and give the node rendering a try.

Thx for the “nice” comment…

Here is a little update:

the body looks far too small-like a big dudes head on a wee dudes body.

You’re right tigger, the body is too small.

I’ve decided to do a little concept sketch:

Now to make the concept a reality…

I think I am pretty much done with the main model… now to move on to the hair.

Great modeling!

love the way you drew over teh existing model for your concept.

When I model in Zbrush I do the same thing, I will put the model down on the canvas, and quickly do some sketches of what i want to do next .

cant wait to see where this project goes
thanks for shareing.

Thx p00f. Yea I usually do a quick sketch in MS Paint before modeling something, that way I know how to shape the “digital clay.”

Now since, I did model him barefoot… I had no choose but to give him sandals.

Absolutely great modeling!!! Love it.

Like wow dude you made that thing in less than 1 day? Nice!

He looks like your mother, though.

Nah, he looks like he saw your mother

yea! really nice moddeling! My ONLY crit is that the trousers look a bit 1-dimensional (they have no thickness). The character is amazing!
