I’m currently interested in creating an add-on to import hdf5 files. Although I plan to start “experimenting” with v2.79b and local python environments, the idea is to develop an add-on for 2.80 when it comes out (beta, etc.). Is it possible to include the “h5py” library in the python distribution of 2.8 without extra effort?
