I have my hair particle system that is rendering an object. In the instance object properties I have turned off object rotation,as I understand it then I would be able to change direction of particle by combing? (as does hair direction change if render is set as path)
Is it not possible to use hair edit and comb it to specific direction if you render hair as an object?
When using an object as an instance in the hair particle system, combing doesn’t directly affect the orientation of the object, even if object rotation is turned off. Combing works for paths but not for objects rendered as particles.
To control the direction of objects, you may need to use the Rotationsettings in the particle system or adjust the object’s origin and alignment before assigning it to the particle system.
