Loving the new hair system. I have a question for more NPR-style setups. I’d love to try to do some kind of inverted hull setup to put outlines around hair created via curves and am wondering if that’s doable.
Right now, I’m specifically looking at determining if there’s a way to make curve proxies which will roughly fit around each individual clump shape in a hair style.
I’m having trouble describing this, but basically, say we have a setup like this which gives us a hair clump:
Basically, I have one hair strand, then a modifier to generate more hairs around it, then one to bring that into clumps, etc.
Let’s say I also wanted to automatically generate a curve which would match the taper profile of this. By manually modeling the curve, I can get something like this:

Super rough, but you get the point.
It seems to me like it should be possible to get, basically, the guide information, the radius information, and the taper profile here in order to generate this curve via geometry nodes. But I’m looking through the geometry nodes for the clump generator, and it’s… messy. Can anyone advise on how I might get the relevant information here in order to do this?
