ok , first , what model should i comb in your opinion , have i to make an approximated clay hair and then comb fur on it ?

what is the best material ?

i don’t think that the twisted portion of the hair would be combed nicly …

Clay and particles might do it. If you’re that good with particles do a tutorial. I’m kinda handy with paint so textured clay is probably the way I’d go.
