Hair like a lamb

Hello everybody,

I’m currently working on a model wich should become something like a “friendly” raptor. Now I got the problem that the hair should look like the one of a newborn lamb (curly and a bit glued together). Like this:

I really searched throug the whole board and the rest of the net, but i just couldn’t find a good tutorial. Can you please help me out?

did you try experimenting with the random factor, probably wont help. hmm… maybe if you could make some long hair, then controll curls and what not with bezier curves. you could somehow isolate different sections and assign them to different curves.
check out this page, especially the video at the bottom, you could control the hair like that

Thanks for your reply. But I fear that i have to model/manipulate every single curl (is that the correct word for a bit of curled hair?) with an own curve…

sorry about that, if only you could make five or six curves, then somehow assign one to a couple different patches around the body. I dont think this will help much though.

I have nothing to add except that’s not a lamb. That’s a lama.
