Some time ago (not much, though) I found a WIP topic about making an animation with germs etc. I found the “electron microscope” effect cool, so I tried to make a picture of hair and that’s what came out:
I know it’s so bad, but I just wanted to know how to make that effect.
Used a negative sun lamp in the front of the camera and 2 sun lamps on the sides of the scene.
Pretty good, but from what I know, magnified hair appears to have “scales.” The skin should probably be more textured too.
yeah i know what you mean, but this was just supposed to be a test of the effect.
