I try to use Fiber for the hair of my character
At a distance it ould look good, but thiers not enough hair and its too course try making it a bit smoother.

you have done a nice job
It looks good but you could improve it by UVmapping a hair texture (with several fibers) with an alpha channel and by smoothing the tufts.
