Halo edges?

Hi folks. I’m surprised I can’t find a decent answer for this, it must have been asked before.

I’m using the Blender internal render for this particular project and want to use the halo style material, but want it to ‘light’ edges instead of points.

This must have been done surely? Could someone point me in the right direction?


Set your material to render as wireframe - emit… add a extra “emit” output in renderlayers … and in compositing nodes glare the emit layer and then add it to the renderlayer.

Could someone please explain the processes here in a bit more detail? I kind of understand what you mean, but I don’t know how to achieve it. I’m really green with internal rendering.
