I’m trying to make a transparent glass bottle with a liquid that is fluorescent.
I’ve added a sphere, placed it in the bottle, and made its material halo.
However, when I render, I don’t see the halo at all. When I place the object out of the bottle and render, I can see it.
Halo materials can’t be seen through transparent materials?..
Halo will not render through Ray Transparent materials nor are they reflected in Ray Mirror materials. If you want something that appears to glow in the water, try using Emit in the Material and look into using Composite nodes to generate Glow.
