Handling beveling and subsuf with Poles (vertices with 5 edges)?

I know these and triangles are supposed to be avoided in hardsurface and subsurface modelling but sometimes its impossible to replicate a shape without them like here https://imgur.com/a/4u3mn4u (red circles have the worst shading and geometry) . I tried googling on how to manage this kind of geometry but got no results so any help, videos or documentation would be really appreciated.
