i have a ready game but i want the textures to be loaded from a folder
not a packed file as example

c:/game/textures

or d:/bingojaurtonjuil/games/textures

i mean from anywhere , i want blender to search for a texture folder in the same place where the exe file exists

you can unpack the textures to current folder. that means blender will load all the textures from

textures/

you cant make it load from anny other folders if you dont load the texture from for example

d:/game/textures

then it will always try to load the textures from that path even if the .exe file is in c:/some_path/

But why do you need the textures to not be packed?

when unpacking it to current directory seems to be the best way if you dont pack.

Remember the Sims. You could edit the textures of the faces and the bodies, and that made it more fun.
