Harry Patch died today at age 111. He was the last soldier to have fought in the trenches during WW1, and one of the last four veterans of this war alive. It’s the second time in one week that a great war veteran, as Henry Allingham died on July 18.
I’m so sad he died 
I was still talking of him this morning, and now he’s dead… In a way, this is the end of a period.
RIP Harry Patch, you won’t be forgotten…
