Yes i have tried. To export models from Blender you need to convert models to Quake 2 format if i remeber well… It is very simple for geometry but i have some troubles diplaying textures. I guess that making animations in this kind of interface will be a pain.
BTW Irrlich files are very explained, the source code for the example files has a lot of comments… good.

Yes. But this is not an elegant solution if you are looking for something crossplataform and opensource. And no i don’t want to start a flamewar against Windows.
Quake 2 format is able to show textures well inside Irlicht it is just me, i don’t have programing skills to correct them easily which means that i don’t have any programing skils at all. (Need to study a lot more).
Btw our great problem is animation.
Have you tried Cristalblend project? Maybe it is closer to integrate Low level programing and Blender’s interface…
