Hating drivers

To anyone who knows how drivers are supposed to work. I have two objects. Both of them have shape Keys. When I change the value of one shape key, I need the value of the other shape key to be exactly the same as the value of the original driver.
Please,… Help.

I’m not sure if this has anything to do with it, but there is an error on my screen that says, invalid python expression, whatever that means…

Select object, Right click to the value > Copy as new driver , select other object, RMB > Paste Driver
