Having issues switching scenes with camera

I have a game where the character goes from level to level switching the scene. I made a attempt to center the character before each scene switch. It doesn’t seem to affect. Each scene has the player starting with the same object

Would appreciate some help

Same issue happens on death when the scene restarts
