I just got an HP computer with an AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core TL-52 processor, 2 gigs of ram and a Geforce Go 7600 graphics card. I have been struggling with trying to get camstudio (Or any other desktop recorder for that matter) to record my desktop for a video tutorial I’m doing. I just can’t get it to record anywhere near an acceptable speed. It is so choppy it looks like the pointer is just appearing at different parts of the screen. I used Desktop activity recorder 2.0 on a puny E-machine with a geforce 6400 card and it worked realtime. That computer died and I replaced it with this one. I tried to download desktop activity recorder again and my virus detector said every link and even the company’s website is riddled with viruses. Anyone have any suggestions on how to optimize a desktop recorder to my computer. Any help would be appreciated.
Never mind. I found BB FlashBack Express and their free version totally rocks!!!
