HDR Lighting 180 Degr?

I’ve got a problem with HDR I guess…

I got a HDR map, it’s a sphere. How do I load it? I can load it, but then it’s just half. :-?

Is this supposed to be so? On the tutorial I viewed (which is here) (What did I do wrong here with BBCode? :o) It didn’t look like it’s only 180 degrees.

if you don’t get what I mean, imagine the earth. I only get HDR reflection from the northpole to the equator, and I would like to have it from the northpole to the southpole, like it looks to be on the tutorial.

Now I keep having black spaces between my ground and the “world”.

Question:

Can I get full HDR lightning? And where then? :expressionless: Or terms on google are like super as well.

TIA

In the world settings you must set the mapping to sphere and “Hori” set on in the “map to” tab.

Either that or AngMap.

Yeah I got it before your answers, sorry for not deleting, it was too late and I’ve to go to school in some minutes. I set it to Angmap, Sphere looks really bad, tho it’s a sphere the map is projected on (don’t ask me). I’ve got a full reflection now, from the north to the southpole.

Now busy with a nice project with lotsa shiny stuff to make it come to life. Thanks anyway for the info.

Yeah, depends on the image. Its usually AngMap (from experience).
