HDR, Trying to figure out whats wrong?

Hi,

I tried setting up HDR. I’m not sure what the problem is. The resolution of the background is off nor do I think I have the right HDR images to work with. I’m not sure how to scale a image correctly////

I’m trying to setup a IBL environment for the following.

Hi, you can´t scale a environment texture you would need very high resolution pictures to get clean results.
I have 8000x4000 pixel pictures and there are ok.
You can setup a background plane with a picture you like but get the lightning from the environment texture.
Set the plane Ray Visibility on only for camera.
