I used mostly Blender 4.3 and 3.6, but now upgraded to 5.2 LTS a week ago.
And when I connect the World Tab’s HDRI.
At first it works perfectly fine, but after a while, it suddenly shows up the Red Circle like this screenshot. It seems like all the other HDRI happens the same..
Instead of adding the HDRI to a new world in your new file, try appending the entire world from your previous file. If it’s a matter of settings being different, that should fix it.
Yeah I think so. I linked the Poly Haven’s HDRi image via its ‘Asset Browser’ in Blender 5.2 LTS.
I installed this Poly Haven’s add-on since Blender 3.5 and I dont think I updated it since then.
Is the Poly Haven’s Asset Browser in Blender is too outdated?
This Red circle on the HDRi issue happens when I link this HDRI and xlose the project and when I re-opne the project, then this red circle shows up at the Sun’s position.
I’m not sure, but I’m asking for the HDRI link because I found a bug in version 5.2: a “texture cache” bug with certain HDRI files, even without generating the .tx files.
