BTW, please don’t ever do that to your sword.

The body is a modified version of the “Mike Freeman” mesh by Pter Jzsa Jr. (AKA PixelPete).
Teeth and tongue are the standard MakeHuman ones.
Everything else was modeled by me.
Geo Nodes quick fur for the boots and loincloth.
I created a custom setup employing Xeofrios’s Mesh-to-Hair node group and the built-in GeoNodes hair controls for the head hair. This means that the hair was basically created like simple card hair.
I drew the eyebrow curves myself.
Eyelashes are combed particle systems.
The eyeballs are the very same I created for Kailee, just with a different iris texture. (See this reddit post for information about He-Man’s eye color.)
The rig is one of the generic ones that came out of MakeHuman, I think. (Used to control the mesh deform cage.) I always modify my rigs to be controlled by points I can drag around. But I admit I did the sloppiest job possible with this one, so there are a good number of issues that should be fixed, heh.
Interestingly, since Kailee’s pupils can expand and contract, I gave He-Man here the same ability, lol.
The baldric and coridite chestplate were the most interesting to rig. There is a very simple mesh that I first ShrinkWrap-ed to the body, then applied, then attached a SurfaceDeform so that it follows his movements.
To that I attached a baldric armature (parented to the main armature) whose bones have ChildOf and DampedTrack constraints at all the joints, making the actual baldric mesh follow the baldric deform mesh that is SurfaceDeform-ing with the body.
Now when I pose him the baldric properly follows without deforming horribly.
His face is rigged with the standard 52 ARkit shapekeys.
None of this is perfect (except that beautiful sword, ), but I really just created it because of the sword, and to work out a few things I am unsure of before I spend too much time modifying Kailee.
The skin texture (bump) is a fairly low-resolution thing that I found online for free, and this is as good as it’s gonna get for this model. The next thing I’m going to spend a lot of effort on is bump-mapping Kailee’s hands — which I’m dreading and so have been putting it off.
Oh, yeah! I almost forgot. His lips are procedurally textured, using a cool quadratic sphere gradient texture trick. I’m pretty sure there’s a cool tutorial on YouTube about it, but I don’t recall which and I’m tired of typing, so…
Hope you like!
PS. I just learned that He-Man is apparently a favorite figure among the LBGTQ community. That never (ever) occured to me to think that, but I guess I can see why. There’s a great pic on the net of He-Man and Skeletor doing the Jack and Rose thing at the bow of the Titanic, lol.
All right, ’nuff typing…
