Proportions still need a bit of work. You should start modeling shapes with light and shadows keeping some of the edges less defined. You’re headed in the right direction.
lol, it does a bit, doesn’t it?
Bussman - Thanks for the crits, but you didn’t really tell us what part/parts still need work, could you explain more please?

overall is nice,
follow bussman’s suggestions he knows what he’s talking about
you need to work with light and shadows.
keep on working.
Thanks for the vote of confidence Leon. People usually don’t say that about me. Most folks think I’m talking out of my ass half of the time.
You’re drawing skills are obviously coming together nicely. I think at this point you should concentrate on drawing what you see and not what you think you see. It’s hard to explain, a good book on the subject is “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain” by Edwards. If you can, get an earlier edition as I understand she got carried away with the whole psychological thing in later editions. But there are no substitutes for drawing things again and again and again. Looking is also very important. I remember years ago, as a student, sitting on the subway train and looking at people and things and “drawing” them in my mind’s eye, that helps a lot.
Sorry I can’t really be more specific. I and others could probably pick your image apart, but it’s not what you need at this stage. Lights and shadows, drawing what you see, that’s what it’s all about.
O.K. now it’s really my butt talking…
