Did some playing with other software to make the preview of the headset in different colours
Looking for some feedback and how/what could i improve for next experience
The first thing I would improve is the color of the black parts on the headphones. Right now, it looks completely black. That couldn’t happen in real life, you should try make them dark gray, so they can have a bit of light on them.
Apart from that, the main thing that could be improved is simply to model with more resolution so the polygons aren’t visible. The polygon amount you have right now is more like a video game model.
Would do a subdivision surface modifier be more then enough to make it with more resolution ?
Probably, but it might not be as simple as just slapping it on. Use edge crease to keep sharp corners sharp and edge loops to control the amount of curvature if it is smoothing too much. Check out the manual for more details: https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/modeling/modifiers/generate/subdivision_surface.html#control
What you have is already looking like a great starting place though!
Not having any sucess with doing those , because some parts are getting deformed
Using subdivision is a skill that needs lots of learning and practice. Also, the model needs to be built for it from the begining.
A model that supports subdivision should be made entirely from quads if possible, with clean edge loops and evenly sized faces.
