Helicopter in the mountains

After not using Blender for making full renders such as these for a few years (I’ve used it for making 3D printing models and some instructional videos, though), I’ve decided to give it a try again.

This started as a model of Bell-429 helicopter I began making just to keep up the skills, then the rest of the scene just sort of grew on top of it, giving a reason to experiment with landscape, materials, sky, particles and post-processing.

Almost everything is done in Blender, the sole exception being some texture details on the helicopter. Landscape material is just generated in Blender, with a single additional texture used as a factor in material nodes composition.
