so haven’t been doing much with blender lately, i actually did this one about half a year ago and i remembered that i hadn’t posted it so i thought i would share it with you
anyhow i probably could still do some work on it but i lost all the blend files when my hard drive crashed
so here it is
Man, hope you never lose files again if you hard drive fails… with automatic-sync to folders “in the cloud”, (like free 2gb from dropbox for example) you have no excuses to not do online back-ups , .blend files are very small but valuable for the creator, think how many hours you spent!
I like the plane model, except the propeller, but since I don’t know too much about real planes, I can’t say.
I would have suggested a better angle (or moving it more to the right) to transmit a better feeling of action, looks too static this way. The background texture is not quite right, is it from a canvas painting?. Again, too bad you lost you original .blend and can’t re-render to improve it, but the idea and the composition with the bomb dropping and the 2 planes looks pretty cool.
ya, i got a new computer after that one because i needed to upgrade anyways so it has 2 HDD mirroring each other
i had some trouble finding a good angle for this one,
i was trying to give it a painted on canvas look it but that didn’t turnout as well as i would have liked it to
and for the propeller i modeled it then animated it and rendered with motion blur
