I’ve been getting more interested in 3D and Blender and am looking forward to improving my skills through practice and learning from other artists here. I’m particularly interested in modeling, materials, texturing, and rendering, although I’m still exploring different parts of Blender.
One thing I really enjoy about Blender is how many different ways there are to approach the same result. Seeing how other artists solve problems and build their projects is a great way to learn.
I’m looking forward to browsing the discussions, sharing my progress when I have something worth showing, and hopefully getting some useful feedback along the way.
Nice to meet everyone! What part of Blender are you currently spending the most time learning?
I’m actually taking a short break (much needed…) from the countless projects I’d like to start and the related topics I’d like to delve deeper into. There’s one thing I’m actively pursuing, though: Python. I really enjoy creating scripts and small add-ons to automate or simplify my workflow. Blender has this additional benefit: it always pushes me to learn something new and offers me new opportunities for discovery!
True there are a near infinite number of ways to achieve the same thing in blender, your only limit is your creativity and will to learn, I have always enjoyed this about blender and enjoy creating everything from scratch, I am learning character sculpting and rigging.
Learning by doing is one of the best ways to learn, good luck on your learning journey.
