Hello guys, how do I make a Silent Hill style fog in blender via the particle system?

I’m new to blender. I used the mist and the environment effect to make fog but it isn’t enough. It mimicked the Silent
Hill Movie fog though but I want to mimic the one in games like the fog Silent Hill Origins.

Don’t use a particle system, render out a Zdepth pass of your scene instead and composite that over your original render.
