I have had a question about mesh modeling i see how some people have very in depth mesh with alot of faces and it looks good but i also see other models that are not subsurfed but the faces are large and they like, curve its hard to explain but i heard something about a mesh simplifier if its real what does it do and advantages?, and disadvantages?
advantages?, and disadvantages
The advantage of using a ‘.’ in your sentences is that they become more readable which has the advantage that people can help you faster.
Also the disadvantage of having a title like “hello” is that people think that you are a newbie just wanting to say ‘hello’, without looking at your question. It would be better if you discribe in the title what the question is about.
I think you mean the mesh Decimator (Object Mode, F9, Mesh panel)
It can reduce the number of polygons in a mesh, but it also turns the polygons into triangles which may not be positioned the way you want.
also see other models that are not subsurfed but the faces are large and they like, curve its hard to explain
It’s when Optimal Draw is used on Subsurfs.
