New here… Nice site… I found a Blender 2.3 Guide book at a yard sale, updated blender to 2.49 but the book is different 
I see alot of things changed… since 2.3
Could someone tell me when 2.5 will be released and if there will be a new blender book that I could purchase ?

This is the new Blender Basics book updated for 2.49. This is the 3rd addition. I used the 2nd addition when I was learning Blender (how ever many years ago that was) and it was a life saver. I suggest downloading this free PDF book.
