I’m trying to add depth to my universe with a push-in. The foremost layer here is a rendered sequence. The last layer is a high-rez photo of deep space, which I have shifted (translate node) to get the area I want. Then I’m using the scale node to give the impression of depth.

But, if you look at the animation above, you’ll see the scaled image is all jittery, there’s no sub-pixel blending so everything shifts a pixel at a time. Is this a limit of this node/compositor or am I using it wrong?
I had previously done this shot in the VSE with no problems other than wanting more control that the compositor would provide.
