[HELP] Eevee Glass material with liquid / beer

I’m fairly new to Blender and Eevee in particular. I’m trying to create a glass full of beer. My main goal is an approximation rather than realism. I’m an interior and events designer looking to brush up and advance my skills beyond simply SketchUp.

I’ve been using the very excellent ekGlass Eevee material which works brilliantly. I’ve made a separate mesh for the beer liquid inside the glass but so far have been unable to get it to appear through the glass. Rotating the view to look down on the glass shows the liquid, it’s not showing through the glass. So far I’ve not been able to work out a solution.

Does anyone have any tips for getting the liquid to show through the glass material?

Glass.blend (3.2 MB)!

Here’s an updated shader setup that I think works as a good substitue. Any critiques or tips would be appreciated.

Glass-v01.blend (1.1 MB)

add some inside bubbles
outside water drops
a nice top foam
