HELP, hand distorts when i rotate a finger via rig

I cannot seem to stop the palm mesh from warping or following the fingers of the mesh/ rig . If anyone could tell me what i need to do i would be thankful. Here are two pics. I just want the fingers to make a fist and for it to not effect the palm mesh. I’m sure its not a a difficult fix as i am new. but i have been searching and searching and have tried many things like weight painting and still nothing.

There isn’t a lot of geometry to work with. But even so, I can see that you have the main part of the hand influenced by the finger bones. It’s no surprise that it’s getting pulled along when you move it.

Assuming you want to keep the mesh as it is, the only option is to remove the influence the finger has on the “palm”. Just paint out the weight on the affected vertices.
